ETIQUETTE

Adherence to the etiquette of dance is essential to a dancer's education and discipline.

Students arriving more than ten minutes late for class will be allowed to watch class only. This protects the student from injury (warm-up takes place in the beginning of class.)

All ballet students must have their hair in a bun (or pulled back, if short) to enter ballet class. All jazz, tap and modern students must have their hair pulled back to enter class.

No talking is allowed in the studios while a class is in session. this rule applies to everyone: students and visitors.

Cell phones and pagers must be turned off when entering studios.

Students may not leave the room unless permission is granted from their teacher. If you need to leave class early, please let the teacher know before the class begins.

Children must be under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times (unless in class.) Children visiting a class must be with an adult and behaving appropriately.
